Walking Tour: GHOSTS OF COLUMBIA
Hear the haunted history of Columbia, Pennsylvania. Stories like the fireman who still watches over the Burning Bridge Antique Center, or the legend of the Bitner Hotel where six people perished by fire, including a newlywed who saved his bridge.
When:
Friday and Saturday evenings
April – November
Cost:
$15 per person
Group rate for ten or more: $12 per person.
Under 12: $10 per child.
Time:
7PM to 9PM (arrive by 6:45 PM).

Walking Tour: COLUMBIA’S UNDERGROUND RAILROAD
Take a walk into the past where fugitive slaves sought asylum in their quest for freedom. Get to know such figures as Stephen Smith, Thaddeus Stevens, William Whipper, and William Wright. Learn how the burning of the bridge was not only to delay the advancement of the Confederacy, but to aid the emancipation of slavery.

Saturday and Sunday afternoons
